Septic Tank Services

Serving Elmira, Corning, Big Flats, Watkins, Ithaca, Waverly, and Owego

We provide septic cleaning for both residential and commercial customers. We specialize in point of sale septic tank certifications, which is a thorough inspection that is done to ensure that the septic is in working order. This septic inspection gives the buyer and seller a piece of mind knowing that the system is working as it should.  Most home sales require that the septic be inspected and certified;  we are happy to assist and make the process as smooth as possible.

We utilize two septic pump trucks to handle all different size tanks.  Whether the tank is large or small, we make sure the septic or grease trap is completely clean. When we clean out the septic, we always back flush the system at least once to help break down the solids to ensure that we get the septic tank clean. By making sure that all solids are out of the septic tank and by setting up a routine cleaning, you can help extend the life of your septic.

Dye tests are used to show if there is a broken line or show if there are any obvious leaks or issues with the system or drain field. We require that a dye test be performed for septic certifications when a home has been vacant for a period of time. When performing a septic dye test, we will come out to the property,  put the dye in a drain and run a substantial amount of water to ensure that the florescent dye is in the system and works its way out to the drain field. If the dye makes its way to the surface, then there may be an issue, possibly a broken, disconnected, or crushed septic line. Once an issue arises, we, then, may be able to pinpoint with a video inspection what exactly is going on.
